With my new machine set up I thought I’d have fun by focusing on a lighting study for a moody overcast interior – In contrast to my previous project, I wanted to create a darker interior and with a little mood; inspired by a town house I saw in Rotterdam last year.
As usual, everything is modelled by myself except for the plants, sofa/cushions and a few kitchen accessories.

As mentioned in an older post, I’m focusing on getting the raw render as close to finished as possible and not rely on post production.
Apart from a slight levels adjustment, there are no other post production changes. Not having to spend time in Photoshop allows me to spend more time working on different angles and potential lighting scenarios.
